Not being able to connect to the internet when everybody else can could be really a problem in a business scenario, and this captive portal thing appears to be a common one - I really hope it gets properly integrated in future LM iteractions. This implementation may also be a tricky one, who knows. I am now in a fancy business hotel in Berlin, one of the best in terms of infrastructure and resources - it appears this kind of hotels implement the captive portal scheme more and more in order to properly identify internet users staying at the hotel, avoiding others who aren't. But I remember last year in one of Orlando's biggest business hotels I had the same problem, only that time I thought it was just a momentarily issue and eventually would be solved.
